iSTAR Ultra SE is a special edition iSTAR Ultra door controller that supports up to 32 readers, and combines iSTAR Ultra features with a ‘Pro mode’ that ensures flexibility and compatibility with all Software House access control systems. When used in “Pro mode”, the iSTAR Ultra SE has the same capabilities as the iSTAR Pro and is compatible with C•CURE 800/8000 and C•CURE 9000. In “Ultra mode”, advanced encryption and wireless lock support are enabled and wireless locks can communicate with C•CURE 9000

iSTAR Ultra SE can manage up to 500,000 cardholders in local memory and employs two onboard gigabit network ports to provide redundant communications to the host. iSTAR Ultra SE also features AES 256-bit FIPS 140-2 network encryption, with custom key management and DoS protection to protect against potential network threats.

EntraPass Corporate Edition is a multiple workstation software platform that offers the ultimate balance between power and affordability in a network environment. It offers the flexibility to securely connect controllers directly on the network, as well as over RS-485. EntraPass software is compatible with Kantech IP devices such as KT-400/ KT-1 controllers and Kantech IP Link (KT-IP) which all utilize 128-bit AES encryption to protect communication against compromise. The software integrates advanced security features such as EntraPass go mobile app and EntraPass web platform that deliver remote and convenient access to common access control, video and intrusion tasks and reporting. The enhanced user experience makes navigation and operation easy and intuitive

KT-400 is an Ethernet-ready four-door controller that provides 128-bit AES encrypted communication with the EntraPass Security Software and is a highly secure solution for any security-conscious business. KT-400 can easily be integrated into an existing EntraPass system with other Kantech controllers (KT-1 and KT-300), or basic door security without the need to connect to a host system when in Standalone Mode – providing the foundation for a brand new security installation

With an onboard Ethernet port, an external IP device isn’t required to connect to the network. The onboard port is dual-sensing, which means the system senses whether the connection is 10Base-T or 100Base-T and adjusts automatically for faster connectivity. KT-400 manages network polling and communicates with the EntraPass Gateway only when an event has occurred. Communication integrity is ensured through a heartbeat signal which is sent at regular intervals to the EntraPass system. This asynchronous communication significantly reduces the amount of bandwidth required to manage the access control system over the network.

Kantech Multi-Technology Readers provide a multi-protocol, multi-frequency solution that reads multiple 13.56 MHz smart card technologies, MIFARE® encrypted sectors, and most of the common 125 kHz proximity cards including ioProx with Kantech XSF format – all from one reader. The readers are perfect if you want to transition to smart cards over time or if you want to utilize both smart cards and proximity cards at your facility. Kantech Multi-Technology Readers make access control more powerful, more versatile, and more cost-effective by allowing you to implement a smart card solution over time. While you are transitioning to smart cards, the Multi-Technology Readers will read both the existing collection of proximity cards and smart cards.
